These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website operated by the British Albanian Chamber of Commerce (BACC UK) at www.baccuk.com (“Site”) and any related services provided by us (“Services”).
By accessing or using this Site, becoming a member, or attending a BACC UK event, you agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site or Services.
- About Us
1.1 BACC UK is a membership-based, limited by guarantee company that supports and promotes trade, investment, and collaboration between the United Kingdom and Albania.
- Eligibility
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services or apply for membership.
2.2 By using our Site or Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
- Use of the Website
3.1 The website and content are provided for information purposes only.
3.2 You agree to use this Site for lawful purposes only and in a manner that does not infringe the rights or restrict the use and enjoyment of the Site by any third party.
3.3 You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site;
- Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without permission;
- Use the Site for any fraudulent, misleading or unlawful activity;
- Collect or store personal data about others.
We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the Site at any time without notice.

- Membership, Payments, Refunds & Cancellations
5.1 Membership is available to businesses, professionals, institutions, and individuals with an interest in UK–Albania business relations. Categories and benefits are described on our Membership Page.
5.2 All membership applications are reviewed by the BACC UK team and subject to approval. No payment is required at the time of application. Approval is granted at BACC UK’s sole discretion.
5.3 If your application is approved, you will be issued an invoice for the applicable membership fee.
5.4 Membership will only be activated once full payment has been received.
5.5 All membership fees are non-refundable once paid, even if you later choose to cancel or do not use your membership. Refunds are only granted in cases of administrative error by BACC UK.
5.6 You may cancel your membership at any time by emailing membership@baccuk.com.
5.7 Cancellation will not entitle you to a refund.
5.8 BACC UK may suspend or terminate your membership immediately if:
- You breach these Terms;
- Payment is not made when due;
- False information was provided in your application; or
- Your conduct is deemed harmful to the organisation’s interests.
5.9 Memberships are valid for 12 months. Renewal notices will be issued before expiry. Renewal is subject to approval and applicable fees at the time.
- Events and Programmes
6.1 Some events may be exclusive to members or require payment. Event details, fees, and cancellation policies will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
6.2 BACC UK reserves the right to cancel or amend any event.
6.3 Where applicable, refunds will be issued only in line with the event’s stated terms.
- Third-Party Links and Services
7.1 The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience only.
7.2 BACC UK does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, security, or practices of third-party sites.
7.3 Your use of any third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9.2 Our total liability to you shall not exceed any fees paid by you to BACC UK in the 12 months preceding the claim.

- your violation of the Terms, and;
- your violation of third-party rights, including privacy or intellectual property rights.

11.1 We may update or revise these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. You are advised to check this page periodically.
11.2 Your continued use of the Site or Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
